Amy Faith Ho, MD MPH is an emergency medicine doctor. She is also a writer and speaker and loves to use storytelling to illustrate humanity through medicine. To her, medicine is not just a pill or a drug but a fascinating field inspired by those who dedicate their lives to it.
“Is Mommy a Doctor or Superhero?” was a book years in the making. Since she was in medical school, Dr. Amy felt blessed to have been surrounded by strong female physician role models. As she watched her colleagues, peers and friends enter into motherhood, she was struck by the [often unstated] superheroes these women really were — everyday, everywhere, and for everyone.
